The iconic duo, who graduated from RuPaul’s Drag Race, are taking their collaboration beyond TV and the Internet! The two dynamic divas take the stage at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Sunday, 2nd October 2022! Finally! The two queens, who did a series of hilarious collaborations reacting to shows and films as well as podcasts, are coming to Alberta. It’s time for drag fans to rejoice! Drag queens Trixie Mattel and Katya are fan favorites from RuPaul’s Drag Race. The duo starred in season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Trixie came back to star in season 3 of Rupaul’s Drag Race All-Stars and won. The two queens started collaborating in 2016 for UNHhhh, a comedic where Trixie and Katya discuss topics. Their chemistry quips and ability to hilariously comment on small details have gained fans' attraction. The show was aired through World of Wonder’s Youtube channel and Wow Presents Plus. The show was so successful that it was nominated for six Streamy Awards.

Due to Trixie and Katya turning into viral Internet Stars, they were able to turn their web series into a fully-produced comedy television series. The show was entitled, The Trixie and Katya Show. In 2017, The Trixie and Katya Show started airing at Viceland and World of Wonder. When Katya took a short break from doing drag, the show invited Bob the Drag Queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 8 to fill in. RuPaul Charles and renowned director and actor Spike Jonze are some of the show’s executive producers.

Aside from appearing in shows, Katya has also authored books with Trixie. In 2020, Trixie and Katya published Trixie’s and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood. The book became a New York Times Best Seller. Katya has also guested in films, such as Bianca Del Rio’s Hurrican Bianca 2: From Russia with Hate. Lastly, Katya sang a track in Homemade Christmas, an extended play record by Trixie Mattel. Trixie’s other projects include her music albums, Two Birds and One Stone, entering the top 20 on the Billboard Folk Albums chart.
