John Crist is a 39-year-old American comedian who is famous for comedy sketches about parents, millennials, and hilarious sports commentary. Crist is from Lilburn, Georgia, and is the third son of eight siblings. His father is a pastor, which became instrumental in Crist developing an overwhelming interest in Christianity. This interest eventually became a baseline and inspiration for most of his written comedy. His first gigs as a comedian were on open mic nights, clubs, churches, and restaurants. Crist’s comedy sketches are creatively familiar, entertaining, and hilariously blunt, leading many people to expect that he'll soon become a household name in comedy.

Crist's first job was at Chick-fil-A and his career as a comedian and performer took flight when his hard work earned him to win several comedian competitions. His first few shows were stand-up comedy nights, and Crist won The Denver Improv’s Got Laughs Competition, The Loonees Comedy Competition and became a finalist on Comedy Central's Up Next Comedy Competition. Crist opened up for several other shows and debuted most of his work with Louie Anderson, in shows and TV programs. In 2014, Crist decided to expand his horizons on a solo career and went to Los Angeles.

In 2016, along with Aaron Chewning, Crist wrote and produced a comedy sketch called “Christian Music: How It’s Made," and it quickly went viral. The video has over 3 million views and is one of the most defining works of the artist. The following sketches with a similar humor gained a consistent amount of traction, which quickly increased Crist’s success and out his name to a wider audience. His first headlining tour quickly sold out in 2017 called “Captive Thoughts," which covered over 20 east coast cities.

This year John Crist will be out to give the laughs because his long overdue and much-awaited “Emotional Support” tour will be spanning across the states!
