William Prince made his solo debut with "Earthly Days" back on December 11, 2015. One of his tracks, "Breathless," even made its mark, reaching #22 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts in 2018. Following his debut, he continued to share his musical prowess with the world. In 2020, he dropped his sophomore album, "Reliever," on February 7th. But that's not all; in October 2020, Prince gave us another gem, his third studio album titled "Gospel First Nation." This one was a special collection of country gospel songs, featuring a mix of fresh originals, tunes penned by his father, and timeless gospel classics.

Beyond his solo work, Prince collaborated with Vince Fontaine and Don Amero as part of the band Indian City. In 2022, he took the stage at the Buffy Sainte-Marie tribute concert, delivering memorable performances of "Up Where We Belong" alongside Marie-Mai and "Now That the Buffalo's Gone" with surviving members of The Tragically Hip.

Fast forward to February 18, 2023, and Prince had the honor of gracing the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee, earning well-deserved acclaim. As if that wasn't exciting enough, his fourth album, "Stand in the Joy," was unleashed on April 14, 2023, courtesy of Six Shooter Records. It was a real treat, with preview tracks "When You Miss Someone" and "Tanqueray" setting the stage for this musical journey.

He’s also accustomed to receiving several accolades for his talents. His first-ever was the Western Canadian Music Award for Aboriginal Artist in 2016. His prowess as a songwriter didn't go unnoticed either. Prince received a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination for Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year during the 12th Canadian Folk Music Awards. It's clear that he was making a significant impact on the Canadian music scene.

One of his career-defining moments arrived in 2017 when he clinched the Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year at the prestigious Juno Awards ceremony, all thanks to his debut album, "Earthly Days." Notably, he was also a finalist for Indigenous Music Album of the Year, further solidifying his place in the music industry.

This 2024, he has his eyes on a broad horizon as he plans out his upcoming Stand in the Joy Tour. It’s in support of his latest album, so you can expect him to perform some of his newest hits. When William Prince lands in Edmonton, you better be sure to catch him live. He’s going to give you one of the best country shows you’ve ever seen! Grab your tickets before they run out!
