The event titled Nadyia Ukraine signifies bringing hope to the country of Ukraine. “Nadiya” which literally means hope in Ukrainian, aims to deliver a great message to audiences in Canada and beyond. Le Corsaire is a three-act piece with the original libretto by Jules Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges. First premiered in Paris in 1856, the performance was first choreographed by the legendary Joseph Mazilier. In 2024, the National Ballet of Ukraine’s top-ranked dancers will deliver this fantastic ballet with great precision, technique, and, most importantly, passion.

Meanwhile, fans of the Spanish epic Don Quixote will also love the three-act presentation, initially choreographed by legendary artistic director Marius Petipa. The performance also features the music of Ludwig Minkus. Don Quixote first premiered in Moscow in 1869 and has had many renditions over the years.
