Your best Christmas friend, Buddy the Elf, is making his holiday rounds on November 25th at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium! This year, celebrating the film's 20th Anniversary, Elf in Concert will revisit the beloved yuletide tale with a worldwide tour of thirty-one cities. In a technical marvel merging live music and cinema, the production will project the movie onto a HUGE forty-foot high-definition screen, with a full-piece symphony orchestra backing up the score in real-time!

Meet the tallest, wackiest elf in Santa's toy-making team! Buddy always had a feeling he was different. Is it because of his maple syrup obsession? His unyielding go-getter attitude? Or maybe because he's twice the size of everyone else. Departing his North Pole home, our guy in green journeys to New York City to learn about his human heritage while in search of his long-lost biological father. In about three hours of holiday hysterics, audiences will witness a heart-melting story filled with love, laughter, and Christmas cheer.

"I can't help but think that Christmas films should strive for less perfection and more spirit. Elf captures the spirit that I long to have during the holiday season. It made me laugh constantly, cry occasionally, and believe in Santa once again. I highly recommend this film."

Helmed by visionary director Jon Favreau, Elf premiered in 2003, starring Will Ferrell in one of the best performances in his legendary career. The movie was met with immediate acclaim from both commercial and critics' circles, clinching an award each from ASCAP and Golden Trailer. Today, it's often lauded as one of America's greatest Christmas films.

Local orchestras from across the globe will play the rousing symphonies from John Debney's iconic score in each of the tour's live presentations. A supremely versatile composer, the three-time Emmy Award winner conjures magical melodies so evocative that even the most stoic audiences can't resist shedding a tear.

"Writing the score was a true highlight of my career... I very much look forward to presenting this unforgettable concert experience to live audiences worldwide," Debneys says in a press release.

Elf in Concert is made possible through the collaboration between CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment. On Saturday, November 25, the traveling production will stop by the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, where families can experience the spectacle in toasty comfort thanks to its cozy seats and intimate ambiance.
