Telling the tale of a workaholic who finds herself putting her phone down amidst a world where the rush is glorified - the holidays soon warms her heart. Disconnecting from the world just for a moment, she visits a holiday wonderland that soon takes the spirit of Christmas back to her family's heart.
Samantha Duval, the show's lead actress, shares a brief background about Caroline, the workaholic in question:
"The show tells the story of Caroline, who is a workaholic and obsessed with her job as the CEO of a major corporation," she tells The Republican. "It is while visiting Wonderland, where the performance takes place, that she finally puts her phone down and realizes that there are amazing things to be seen..."
It definitely sounds like a wake up call for most of us... Distracted by the daily 9 to 5, bills, paperwork, school, and everything in between, the holidays just lost its spark as we grew up, and in between life's hurdles left and right, we become glued to our phones for a brief escape. Well, things don't have to be this way, especially as the holidays come rushing in.
Its time to spend some valuable time with the people who mean the most to us - away from our phones, just for a little while. "And that is the message for everyone, that in this day and age we all need to be reminded to put our phones down," she added.
Featuring glamourous costumes, princess dresses, snow, and magical props with Cirque Musica's daring circus feats, it's a holiday spectacular that's set to get you on your feet.
