Hailing from Canada, the "We Don't Wanna Go Home" boy is finally coming right home. With a new album on the radar for 2024, the man teased its title track "Welcome Home" and a matching tour of the same name. Hitting the road across Canada and the U.S. for a whopping 44-show trek, he's set to serve all the feels of connecting back to familiar places like home. Led by a fiercely rockin' track, everyone's definitely kickin' in for the vibe. He's also bringing along a special guest, indie singer-songwriter Adam Baldwin, who'll be visiting every home as the show opener.

Sharing its title track and lead single ahead of the album's full release, expected to arrive in early 2024, Doyle co-wrote the track with country artists Donovan Woods and Josh Kelley.

"Welcome Home. The words we dream to say when loved ones have been gone," Doyle shared on social media, sharing his new single. "I hope this speaks to everyone of dreaming to get all hands home, and to sing loud when they do."

As the heartfelt track kicks in, everyone's looking forward to hearing the man perform live on stage. Three decades strong in the music industry, Doyle is a man known for his unique take on folk-rock masterpieces. As a former member of the Canadian folk-rock band Great Big Sea, his dedication to the craft led him to become a globally acclaimed solo artist today. Releasing his solo debut LP "Boy on Bridge" in 2012, his tracks went on to rock the world. His hit singles include "I've Seen a Little", "Testify", "Bully Boys", "Summer Summer Night", "So Let's Go", "We Don't Wanna Go Home" featuring Dean Brody, and many more.

In an interview with The Maritime [EDIT] back in 2017 following the release of "A Week at the Warehouse", Doyle shared how he thinks about coming home after a tour. "At the end of a tour, sometimes all I can think about is coming home to St. John’s and enjoying the life that I have here," he shared. "I like coming home because it’s where my family and my friends are. This is where I grew up and I know it sounds ethereal, but this is where I belong."

As the man finds a familiar feeling of home in his upcoming new record, we're stoked to hear the rest of the album. "Welcome Home" definitely hit hard.
