Rooted in Germany, childhood friends Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch started recording their debut album in a homemade studio at Rehbein's home. With a unique edge of blending electronic elements with alt-rock, reggae, folk, and indie vibes, Milky Chance soon found its way to global acclaim. With "Stolen Dance" making big waves off of their debut record, Milky Chance soon found themselves stealing the limelight as one of the world's hottest rising stars. Three albums later, the iconic band just announced the release of their fourth album, "Living in a Haze" coming out on June 9th.

With a highly-anticipated new record, Milky Chance also announced the Summer Haze 2023 Tour in support of their upcoming album, causing an outburst of excitement among fans. The band gave fans a taste of what to expect on this new flavor of Milky Chance – its title track and "Frequency of Love".

As Rehbein sings in a dream-like atmosphere, "I wish I was a disco boy… "I should be dancing the pain away". Introducing an upbeat setting matched with introspective lyrics, Living In A Haze seems to live up to what Milky Chance does best.

"Frequency of Love" is described as "a pretty emotional track for us," the singer shared. "We really wanted to try out new things, and dig a little deeper musically and this song was an exciting outcome of it. It gives a hint of the range and different directions that we've been going with this album." Rehbein added.

Milky Chance's notable hits and crowd favorites include "Cocoon", "Flashed Junk Mind", "Colorado", "Synchronize", "Blossom", "Down by the River", and "Stolen Dance". Since their 2013 breakout, Milky Chance never missed the chance to share rockin' hits that shook global airwaves.

Taking the world by storm with their 2013 debut "Sadnecessary", Milky Chance amassed a loyal following, along with rave reviews from critics. "All in all, Milky Chance has put together an impressive debut," AllMusic shared. "filled with songs that are both catchy and introspective, making Sadnecessary a perfect album for both dancing and contemplating."

Moreover, the duo along with its band members, Antonio Greger & Sebastian Schmidt, are well-known for their live performances. They constantly tour and headlined in festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Reading & Leads.

"We like to keep our live shows pretty organic," Rehbein shared in an interview with Rolling Stone. We use a lot of acoustic instruments like guitar, harmonica, and melodica, and we try to keep it as raw and spontaneous as possible."
